James West
Associate CHIROPRACTOR
James graduated with distinction from London South Bank University and during his first year of practice his clinical excellence earned him a nomination for the British Chiropractic Association’s New Chiropractor of the Year. Prior to joining New Malden Chiropractic in 2023 James worked in busy multidisciplinary clinics in South London and Kent.

His APPROACH TO Care
James takes an evidence-informed approach to care that focuses on more than just symptom relief. His treatments, alongside manual chiropractic care, emphasise helping patients understand why they may be in pain and how they can actively support their own recovery. A key part of his process involves creating personalised exercise programmes tailored to each person’s goals—whether that means returning to work, running without discomfort, or simply moving more freely.
To support this approach, James has completed internships with several leading clinicians in the fields of pain management and rehabilitation, which continue to influence his day-to-day work.
CLINICAL FOCUS
James enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds, whether they’re recovering from injury, managing long-term discomfort, or aiming to improve day-to-day function. He has a particular interest in sports chiropractic, and currently is the first team Chiropractor to AFC Wimbledon, consulting with the team of medical staff to prevent injury and aid recovery. He also works within other sporting events across the UK.
In addition to his work in professional sport, James has extensive experience managing chronic pain, including sciatica, neck and lower back pain. His aim is to help patients understand their pain, as well as to provide them with personalised rehabilitation and lifestyle advice to get them back to feeling 100% again.
