Tass Amiridis

Physiotherapist

Tass is Chartered Physiotherapist with 20 years experience working across professional football and multi-sport alongside his private practice work.  He is currently the first team Physio and Rehabilitation lead for Fulham F.C.  His passion lies in optimising physical and mental performance for patients and athletes.

Professional background

Tass qualified in Australia as a Chiropractor before completing his Physiotherapy training. He spent over a decade running his own clinic in Melbourne, working with a wide range of patients, from general musculoskeletal cases through to high-level athletes.

His career has since been focused largely within elite and semi-professional sport. He has held roles at Southampton F.C. and Crewe Alexandra F.C. before moving to Fulham F.C, gaining experience across both academy and first team environments.

Alongside football, Tass continues to work across multiple high-performance settings. This includes supporting Olympic athletes through the UK Sports Institute, working with the FA Para teams, and contributing to the Australian Cycling Team within BMX Freestyle. This breadth of experience gives him a clear understanding of the demands across different sports and performance levels.

His Approach To Care

Tass takes a straightforward, practical approach to rehabilitation. His work is centred around understanding the demands of the individual and building a clear plan to get them back to where they need to be.

His background in both Physiotherapy and Chiropractic care allows him to combine hands-on treatment with structured rehabilitation and movement-based strategies. The focus is always on progression not just reducing pain, but restoring confidence, capacity, and performance.

CLINICAL FOCUS

Tass works primarily with athletes, with a focus on injury management, rehabilitation, and return to performance. His experience spans the full pathway from younger developing players through to senior elite and international level athletes.

He has a particular interest in: - Athletic performance and return to play - Managing complex and long-standing injuries - Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation - Movement-based rehabilitation in high-performance settings

He also continues to work with a broad private caseload, including individuals preparing for or recovering from surgery, as well as those looking to return to activity and training.
