Stephanie Birtig
Senior Associate CHIROPRACTOR | PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Stephanie is a qualified and highly experienced chiropractor, originally trained at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Before becoming a chiropractor, she worked as an emergency room nurse in several major New York hospitals, she is registered to practice nursing in the UK.
Stephanie is also a qualified Pilates instructor, and brings this expertise into her chiropractic practice, helping patients improve control, strength and movement as part of their treatment and rehabilitation plans.





HER APPROACH TO Care
Stephanie’s care is grounded in a whole-body, functional approach that integrates chiropractic treatment, movement-based rehabilitation, and Pilates-informed strategies. She works closely with each patient to create a targeted and truly personalised care plan that supports their specific goals, be it professional or personal.
CLINICAL FOCUS
Stephanie’s approach is shaped by her diverse clinical background and passion for performance-based movement. She has a particular interest in working with dancers, gymnasts, and performing artists, drawing on her own experience as a dancer to tailor care to the unique demands of this population.
She has worked with athletes from many sporting disciplines, but is especially experienced in supporting junior gymnasts, regularly collaborating with local clubs to help their members recover from injury, prevent recurrence, and optimise performance.

Classical Pilates Instructor (including reformer) – New York
BSc Nursing (with experience in A&E) – Western University Canada
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
Registered with the GCC
Member of the British Chiropractic Association
Personal Interests
Stephanie has a passion for dance and theatre, and regularly attends ballet and live performances around London. When she’s not at work she’s usually dancing (ballet jazz?), taking singing classes, at the gym or on her bike. She has recently joined a triathlon club and loves to cycle around Richmond park.
Since moving to the UK she has travelled throughout Europe and regularly goes back to Canada to see her friends and family.
